Welcome Speech Sample

WELCOME SPEECH:

Respected Mr X(main chief guest), (his designation), Members of the management, all other dignitaries present here and the members of the Press, On behalf of X School it is my proud privilege to extend a very warm welcome to you all to this very momentous occasion in the history of our School.

Chief Guest unveiling the plaque.
Mr X, Sir, I thank you for having spared your very valuable time to grace us with your august presence here this morning. Your being here is a source of inspiration for us all.

I also welcome our (second chief guest), who has been a strong pillar of support to X School. Thank you sir for your presence here this morning.

X is an institution which has been famed to always take the road less traveled. While giving pure academics the due importance it deserves, X has always endeavoured to provide its students with that little extra something which makes this school so unique and so sought after.

We understand better than any one else the need for continuous improvement and innovation in knowledge disbursement. As our children conquer peak after challenging peak of success we deem it our duty to provide them with all the support in the form of state of the art infrastructure, providing them with challenging opportunities to test their mettle, and last but not the least, the required guidance and motivation in the form of reward and recognition.

Today we all have gathered here for another such initiative which has been brought into material-drawing competition-to mould out the artist hidden in each one of us.so come one come all. All are welcome to take art in this competition and who so ever would carve the best of of his sheet and colours, his creation would be given the privilidge to be seen on the skools year book.

We take this opportunity to make a solemn promise you that X will continue to take many more such initiatives and be instrumental in helping the students aim for and reach beyond the stars.
With these few words I once again extend a very cordial welcome to one and all present here.

VOTE OF THANKS"
We thank you and sincerely thank all the men and women who laboured so hard to erect this building though none of them will ever step inside this building. Kindly convey our best wishes to each and every one of them, to all your supervisors, electricians, plumbers engineers et all.

I must express our gratitude to X, the Principal, and my predecessor X during whose tenure this knowledge centre was given birth. It will add no doubt, another feather to Loyola’s cap.

We are indeed grateful to the media both the print and the electronic for their presence today in our midst and for all their encouragement and support to X at all times.
